I was initially hesitant to buy a paint-by-numbers kit because I’ve always been terrible at painting! But I finally tried one from Craftmate last week and the experience was fantastic! Over three days, whenever I found time, I was completely engrossed, away from my mobile and felt so relaxed and stress-free. For the first time in my life, I have painted something I am proud of. Saw Craftmate kit on Instagram, bought the Santorini standard paint by numbers kit, finished it slowly & steadily, submitted the entry & this Friday got selected as Artist of the week! Today ordered two paint by numbers kit using the gift coupon. Looking forward to start painting it again!! The other is Diwali gift for my dear sister!!
This is the 6th kit I’m about to complete, and I must say, you guys are doing a fantastic job! The canvas quality is excellent, the colours are beautiful, and the designs are interesting and engaging. These kits keep me productively occupied, help me cut down on my screen time significantly, and, most importantly, keep my love for creativity and painting alive. ❤️
Based on my experience with the kits, I have just three suggestions that could make the experience even better:
1. Lighter, less visible numbers on the canvas: The numbers printed on the canvas are quite dark and difficult to cover, especially when painting with lighter colours. No matter how many coats I apply, they sometimes remain visible. Using lighter or less prominent numbers would make a big difference.
2. Improved brush quality: The brushes could be of better quality to make the painting process smoother and more enjoyable.
3. A scannable QR code for the design: It would be really helpful if every kit included a QR code linking to a digital image of the ordered design, with all the numbers clearly marked. The paper reference sheet can be difficult to read, whereas a digital image allows us to zoom in and see the numbers and corresponding colours much more clearly. This would be a fantastic addition!
Apart from these small suggestions, you guys are doing a great job! I absolutely love the concept and the creativity behind these kits. Keep introducing new, beautiful designs every week or month so we can continue enjoying this wonderful hobby.

It is really a beautiful painting. At first, I was not sure whether I will be able to paint it but later I started enjoying it. It is soooo relieving. My 9yr old son also enjoyed and helped me.
