The illustrations are incredibly aesthetic and beautifully design. The paper quality is excellent and handles watercolours really well.
I started with low expectations, both from myself and the product! However this slow activity is proving to be a great stress buster. And I'm getting better at it! Now I want to try the other topics too.
I usually paint the acrylic paint by numbers. But wanted to try water colours.
So I bought a water colour kit from Craftmate. The paper is excellent. The colours are transparent and allows for multiple layers. There was 8 predrawn pictures and some reference image.
I really had a wonderful relaxing time,
I bought it for a friend's daughter. It'svery compact ,convenient to carry. The predrawn sheets are of good quality. And the picture designs are very nice.
After the paint by number kits, I thought to try my hand in freestyle watercolours but did not know where to start. This mini book kit is perfect! The water pen paint brush makes it really mess free and an easily portable painting kit. One can truly let out their creative side and the picture would still look good. The QR code link for inspiration and ideas on Youtube help a lot in this process. Kudos!
I am delighted with my purchase! Craftmate’s pre-sketched painting books are, by far, the very best in the Indian market. Nothing comes close for watercolour painting for adults especially if you’d like to paint but don’t know how to sketch! The pre-sketched illustrations and the visual guides take away all the anxiety that comes with staring at a blank paper not knowing where or how to start.
The book is priced at under thousand rupees for 16 pre-sketched illustrations + brush + paints! That’s a bargain if there ever was one!!
I highly, highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to paint to relax rather than with the pressure to create even though the final creation is pretty enough to be framed or gifted!
